About HCBS Quality Improvement

The purpose of the Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Quality Improvement website is to share resources and foster a learning community among HCBS providers. The website is a place for providers to connect with each other, share experiences, and find ideas for future quality improvement projects. People using services will also find ideas for working with their providers to enhance their supports. This site highlights the good work going on in home and community-based services and aims to share those promising practices.

This website includes content submitted by variety of organizations, including individual providers, trade associations, and other HCBS stakeholder groups. Content featured on the website helps providers identify areas for service improvement and develop strategies for implementing quality improvement efforts in their own setting. People using long-term services and supports may find stories and resources under the “Strategies” tab or under the link “Participant-driven change” especially helpful.
